To make managing significant behaviors a team effort, we must leverage specific data, implement targeted team meetings, and provide ready-to-use tools. Just as we approach deficits in math and reading, behavior challenges require a data-driven strategy. As leaders, it is our responsibility to equip general education staff with the tools and knowledge they need to feel confident in working with these students. Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 hosted an internal tabletop exercise on a School District Cybersecurity Incident with district leaders and the Information Technology department. The tabletop exercise presented a real-world scenario that depicts a cyberattack in a preK- 12 setting.

The session will address how young people are increasingly vulnerable to online predators and harmful content. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for prevention, including the importance of open communication with young people.
