I am the principal of Roosevelt Elementary in McPherson, KS, and I have a passion for leading with a focus on student success, strong school culture, and sustainable systems that help schools thrive. With 8 years of experience in administration and as a former elementary teacher, I work to make sure teachers have strong systems in place, including behavioral support systems, to help them live out their passion for helping students succeed. I am passionate about tackling behaviors as a skill deficit rather than an immediate diagnosis. I want not only students with high needs but also those around them to be safe at school so they can learn. I am committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student and staff member can thrive.
