I am a K-12 Counselor at USD 481, Rural Vista. In addition, I am a Professional Community Ambassador for Erika's Lighthouse as such, I share Erika’s Lighthouse programs and resources with educators and school mental health professionals.
Depression Education is Suicide Prevention - evidence-informed programs for students in grades 4-12. We’ll discuss a learning continuum; from social emotional learning to suicide prevention education. I’ll discuss our tier 1 approach at Erika’s Lighthouse and share our classroom programs, teen empowerment, family engagement, and staff policy resources.
