KSDE Safe and Supportive Schools Conference

Susan Severin is on the Specialized Learning Services (SLS) team with Greenbush Education Service Center.  She is also a nationally certified school psychologist with 17 years of experience in pre-K through 12 public schools.  Under that role she has also held the positions of Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) district trainer, district Leadership Team member, served on district Safety/Crisis Teams, Affective Service team, and is a member of the Kansas Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) clinic.  Susan has also earned her Masters in English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement, and has had a passion for Social and Emotional Learning in Education, Trauma Informed practices, and for crisis prevention and intervention. She is also a school psychology internship supervisor/adjunct instructor for Emporia State University.  She especially enjoys working with students who have challenging behaviors in order to help them become successful at school and within their communities.
